First Reconciliation

Children who are in the second grade or older, having participated in Faith Formation the previous year, are eligible to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) Register them along with Faith Formation. Then, if you feel that your child is ready to celebrate this sacrament, please attend ONE of the following PARENT Orientation Meetings: Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30-7:45 p.m. during the Faith Formation sessions and on Sunday, September 27 from 11:10 a.m.–12:45 p.m. in the Hall.

Preparation for First Reconciliation is NOT part of the children’s regular classes. It is in addition to them and involves the parents. More details will come at the meeting. There is a fee of $25.00 for each child to cover the cost of materials.

Confirmation & First Communion

Children who are in the third grade or older, having participated in Faith Formation the previous year, are invited into the family based preparation process for Confirmation and First Communion. Current registration in Faith Formation and celebration of First Reconciliation are necessary to begin this sacramental preparation process. If you feel that your child is ready to celebrate these sacraments and complete their initiation in the Catholic Church, please register them along with Faith Formation and plan to attend ONE of the PARENT Orientations scheduled as follows: Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21 from 6:30-7:45 p.m. during the Faith Formation sessions and on Sunday, October 25 from 11:10 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in the Hall. There is a fee of $25.00 per child to cover the cost of materials.

High School Sacraments

If your child is in the 9th through 12th grades and has not celebrated their First Reconciliation, Confirmation or First Communion and wishes to do so, please register them for the Faith Formation sessions to be held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning September 20th.

There will be a parent meeting held during the first class to give you an overview of the process for the year.
