The St. Jerome Development Council was founded in 2006 under Reverend Andres Arango. It was designed to encompass existing ministries, leadership committees and involve staff. The focus of the council is the St. Jerome Community resources. It is how we as a Parish Family focus the use of these resources towards the support of our leadership in the growth of our Parish Family and the realization of our Parish Vision. It is through stewardship that we as people of Christ intend to move beyond an organization that is maintaining its existence toward a community which will understand God's vision and endeavor to realize it! The concept of development is a working strategy. It is a leadership focus for our community toward realizing our goals through a designed program of visioning, planning, public relations and charitable giving.
There are seven supporting groups of the Development Council.
Annual Campaign (CDA)
Buildings and Property Committee
Memorials
Planned Giving
Public Relations
School Committees & Boards
Stewardship Committee
Over the time that we have had to contend with the issues surrounding the parking lots, the breezeway cover and the Adoration Chapel, we have not been holding Development Council meetings. However,we will look to resume these starting later this year in the time leading up to the Fall Parish Festival.
